According to “Coachella by the Numbers”, 24 acts at Coachella are women or have female leads.
Here is my foolish attempt at a “Top 10 Women at Coachella” list, not in any particular order:

- Kate Nash
- St. Vincent
- Sia
- Tegan & Sara
- Grand Ole Party
- The Breeders
- Yelle
- Goldfrapp
- The Bird and the Bee
(This is a foolish attempt - I left out Portishead, Santogold, Kid Sister, Uffie and other great acts)
That doesn’t include the 20,000 women who will be attending Coachella 2008. You are all special ;-)
